February Favorites

I’m pretty sure January was the slowest month of my life, but February made up for it and absolutely flew by. Maybe it’s the craziness of Valentine’s Day and my birthday back-to-back in the middle of the month, or that it actually is the shortest month of the year. Either way, here are my February favorites from the last month. Three of these are repeat purchases, one is a brand new product and one is a new-to me product.

My family uses the Elfster app for our Secret Santa, and I totally forgot I had added a few of these to my wish list. My dad wasn’t sure what to get me for my birthday and grabbed three of my favorite products, which I was really excited about. The first three favorites were birthday gifts from him (Thanks, Dad!).

  1. Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer — I always have a few bronzers in rotation, depending on the time of year but this is definitely one of my favorites. I love that it has no shimmer and the matte finish is perfect.
  2. Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray — This is one of my top three favorite hair products. It’s definitely a splurge but a little goes a long way and it seriously lasts forever. Plus, it smells amazing!
  3. Capri Blue Volcano Candle — My dad bought this for me for Christmas a few years ago and I love the smell of it. We always have candles burning in our house, and this has such a clean, fruity smell. Plus, the white jar looks great in my living room.
  4. MAC Hyper Real Glow Palettes — MAC sent me two brand new highlighters in Flash & Awe and Get It Glowin’ and I haven’t put them down! Stay tuned for my full review, but, spoiler alert: you need these.
  5. China Glaze Gelaze — I grabbed these well over a year ago and totally forgot about them. There must have been a sale at Sally’s because I have three colors; White on White, Liquid Leather and Flip Flop Fantasy. The best part about these gel polishes is that the base is included with the color, so you get to skip a step! I rocked White on White for two weeks, which was perfect for the crazy February weather we had with 8 inches of snow, followed by 70 degree temperatures.

So there you have it, all five of my February favorites. What should I try next month?
