Happy March… it’s finally almost Spring!  What better way to celebrate than with a fun Sally Beauty Spring nail look and tutorial? I recently took a trip to Sally Beauty to check out their new Nail Wall and it is beautiful!

They even had a video screen right in the middle with helpful videos from some of the brands that they carry!

I spent a while browsing and finally landed on FingerPaints “Natural Talent”, Nina Ultra Pro “Gladiator”, and OPI “Suzi Shops & Island Hops”.

Decisions, decisions….

Step 1:  After applying your base coat, apply one coat of your favorite nude polish.  I used FingerPaints “Natural Talent”.  FUN FACT: FingerPaints is exclusive to SallyBeauty and they have tons of amazing polishes to choose from!

Step 2:  Once the nude polish has dried, apply striping tape in a V shape towards the top of your nail.  Mirror the same V shape towards the bottom, evenly spacing the striping tape.

Step 3:  Between the cuticle and the bottom V, apply a light pink polish. I used OPI “Suzi Shops & Island Hops”.  Repeat with the same polish above the top V.  Remove striping tape before the polish dries.

Step 4:  Using a striping brush (available at Sally Beauty) or striping tape, line the edge of the nude polish and pink polish with gold.  I used Nina Ultra Pro “Gladiator”.

Once the gold has dried, finish with with your favorite top coat.
Ta-da!  There you have it.  A super easy look, perfect for Spring.  You can switch up the shape of the negative space by playing with striping tape or swap out the colors with any of the 750 shades available at Sally Beauty.
